Gracelyn Stoller
I am a junior at Antwerp Local High School in Paulding County, Ohio. This school year, and my senior year, I will be the Editor-in-chief of my school’s yearbook, “The Archer.” This is my first year on the OSMA student board and my second year involved with journalism. Outside of yearbook, I am also on my school’s basketball and track team and the vice president of my grade’s student council. I love interacting with others and being in many extracurricular activities! I am very excited to be a part of the OSMA board and see what I can bring to the table!
Taia Menefee
I am a junior at Beachwood High School in Beachwood, Ohio. Currently, I am a news editor for Beachwood’s school newspaper, The Beachcomber, and this is my first year on the OSMA Student Board. Outside of journalism, I participate in my school’s Model UN, Minority Achievement Committee, Library Club, and am Vice President of my class’ student council. I also enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music. I am so excited to be serving on the Student Board this year!
Ella Neighborgall
I am a senior at Centerburg High School in Centerburg, Ohio. I currently serve as the Editor-In-Chief of the Trojan Crier. This is my first year on the board and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to participate! Outside of journalism, I am my school’s varsity cheer captain, a member of the quizbowl team, Spanish Club, and my school’s OSA program. I enjoy writing, reading, hiking, and working with kids. I’m very excited to be part of the board and to connect to other high school journalists!
Allie Haucke
I am a junior at Lakota East High School in Cincinnati Ohio. I am currently a writer for Lakota East’s publication, Spark. This is my first year on the OSMA board and I am excited to be a part of the group! I especially love doing in-depth interviews with people and really getting to know them. Outside of journalism, I participate in a local tutoring program for underserved elementary students in the Lakota district. Additionally, I love to crochet, read, garden and cook. I am honored to serve on the board and can’t wait to see what’s to come!
Alex Schwind
I am a junior at Lakota East High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently, I am a writer and visual artist for the Lakota East paper Spark. This is my first year being on the OSMA Student Board. I look forward to learning more about journalism and being a part of the board. Other than Spark, I am a part of East’s mock trial team and I am a co social media manager for East’s letters for rose club. I also participate in art club and knitting club. Other than school related activities, I love to draw, paint, and read.
Ria Malhi
I am a senior at Lakota East High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently I am a news editor for the Lakota East paper the Spark. I am also a member of East’s Spanish club, student government, and national honor society. I enjoy volunteering for my local hospital in my spare time. This is my first year on the Student Board and I’m excited to work with other student journalists!
Ava Huening
I am a senior at Lakota East High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently, I am one of the editors for the package section of our school’s magazine, Spark. This will be my second year serving on the OSMA Student Board. Outside of journalism, I am an active member of my school’s Spanish Club and Winterguard team. In my spare time I also enjoy activities such as reading, painting, gardening, and baking. I am honored to be a part of the student board and looking forward to what this year will bring!
Taylor Noe
I am a senior at GlenOak High School in Canton, Ohio. Currently, I am one of the photography editors under our publication, The Eagle. This will be my second year of serving on the OSMA Student Board and I’m super excited for what’s to come! Outside of journalism, I am involved in Speech and Debate, Concert, Marching, and Pep Band, and I am the goalie for our school’s girls lacrosse team. I’m also involved in a few other clubs such as NHS, our school’s Student Ambassador program, and I’m an officer of Key Club. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, watching TikTok or Netflix, and baking (specifically cupcakes). I’m glad to be able to be on the board and love to see what the future will hold!
Rachel Gortney
I’m a senior at GlenOak and the current Social Media Manager for our publication The Eagle! This is my second year serving on the OSMA Student Board. Outside of journalism, I am the speech and debate president, a state and national qualifier in U.S. Extemp! I’m also the Assistant Secretary General for Ohio Model UN, an active member of the academic challenge team, and French Club! In my spare time I love reading and listening to Taylor Swift! I’m so excited to be back on the board for the next year!
Maddie Donabauer
I am a senior at Centerburg High School in Centerburg, Ohio. I am currently serving as Media Editor for my school newspaper the Trojan Crier and run our news show Prior Crier. This is my second year serving on the OSMA board, and I am excited to get to work with my fellow members. Outside of journalism I sing with the Columbus Children’s Choir, and I am involved in marching band, theatre, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, and Spanish Club.
