Coming up with story ideas that engage readers was part of what these OSMA attendees did in “Story Ideas Often Overlooked,” as session at the Region 4 workshop two years ago at Bowling Green State University. Region 4’s fall workshop was at Bowling Green State University Tuesday, Oct. 11 has will have an exciting new location. Kuhlin Center, home of the School of Media and Communication, now has a $24 million expansion and renovation. Hands-on sessions and additional learning opportunities will be even more exciting with “collaborative and technology-enhanced spaces,” according to the school’s website.

Students can take advantage of even more hands-on sessions and many can do so for free. Yes, for free. The first 100 students to register will have their $10 registration fee waived thanks to the generosity of BGSU’s Office of Admissions if they are willing to share their contact information with BGSU’s Office of Admissions. Check out more information on the Step-by-Step form and the registration materials, including the OSMA Event Registration Spread Sheet for students who want to take advantage of the free registration.
